Hawaii’s chic consignment shop shows us
stylish ways to recycle fashion.

Maggie Bijl kicked off her career as a fashion designer. Everyone
knows that designers have a keen eye for detail, and truly value
the art of fashion. Bijl fits that pattern. In March 2007, she felt
that she needed an outlet for all of that creativity bursting inside
of her so she opened the hip consignment and designer boutique,
Bohemia. The store features up-and-coming designers like herself
and some other local talent, as well as an eclectic mix of vintage
clothing and accessories from the likes of Betsey Johnson, Chanel,
Gucci, Dior and Louis Vuitton, to name a few. One of our favorite
things about her boutique is the vast shoe collection. The exclusive
selection of shoes are in excellent condition. It is well worth
the flight from the mainland. Everything in the store, from accessories
to clothing is color coordinated and styled, almost like a closet.
Bijl also offers personal shopping and styling services to her clients
by appointment only. Her clients love the one-on-one time they get
with a girl who has an eye for style, and who can teach them a thing
or two about the benefits of buying recycled fashion and a creating
a unique look that’s all their own. If you are ever in Hawaii, stop
in at 105 North Market St. Wailuku, Hawaii. 808-244-9995
